love it, but loved your faces too…did you do those in Photoshop? Do you just have an urge to develop your art abilities right now, or how did this come about?
Of everyone pictured here, the ones I’d most like to meet are probably Einstein and Buddha…but Yoda is definitely up there!

Hi Lisa. I got a new computer recently with Windows 7. The drawing began as an attempt to check out the newer versions of MSPaint and Gimp. I can’t use Photoshop; it’s not intuitive enough for me. I’ve written about my forty faces elsewhere, but basically drawing faces was what I did before I got this blog. I was sort of a mindlessness junkie for a while. I still like to go there sometimes, to get lost in color and form and movement and hue. It’s a kind of meditation.
